It is ANSI Certified (American National Standards Institute) and uses genuine Cree LEDs making this a product powered by the industry's highest-quality LEDs. The lumens are 85 high/25 low and 233 on the side COB. It also passes the 1M impact resistance drop test making this the go to flashlight for any situation.
