The Cowpens flag, also known as the third Maryland flag was likely created during the Revolutionary War and just like the Betsy Ross flag, the white stars are arranged in a circle on a blue field, but the circle consists of just 12 stars, with the 13th in the center. This 3' x 5' historical flag is made from heavy-duty 200 denier nylon and features a canvas header and two brass grommets.
